FAQS

Q: Do you take insurance?
A: I’m currently in the process of joining several insurance panels. Once I’m in-network, I’ll post updates here. If I’m not yet on your plan, I can provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Q: Do you offer virtual sessions?
A: Yes! I offer secure Telehealth sessions for clients in Missouri and Texas. All you need is a private space and internet connection. Many clients find virtual sessions just as effective and more convenient.

Q: I’m new to therapy. Is that okay?
A: Yes, 100%. Many of my clients are new to therapy. You don’t need to have it all figured out. We’ll start where you are and move at your pace.

Q: What if I’m not ready to talk about everything yet?
A: That’s completely okay. You don’t need to share everything all at once. We’ll build trust first. Healing isn’t about rushing; it’s about feeling safe enough to open up when you're ready.

Q: What’s your cancellation policy?
A: I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee. I get that life happens, we’ll approach any challenges with care and communication.

Q: What can I expect from therapy?
A: Therapy is a space just for you, a place to feel seen, heard, and supported without judgment. Some sessions may feel reflective and quiet, while others may be emotional or even liberating. You get to show up as you are. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing on you and what’s possible for your healing.

Q: Who do you work with?
A: I support teens, adults, individuals in transition, and couples from all backgrounds. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, identity stress, or relationship challenges. Many of my clients are often carrying both personal and systemic burdens.

Q: What are your rates? Do you offer a sliding scale?
A: My standard rate is $125 per individual 53-minute session. I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots ($90–$115) based on income and need. Let’s talk about what feels sustainable for you.

Q: How do I know if you’re the right fit?
A: Therapy is personal — and the right fit matters. If you're unsure, we can start with a free 15-minute consult. There’s no pressure to commit, and if I’m not the right match, I’ll offer referrals to someone who might be.

Q: Do you offer therapy for couples?
A: Yes. I work with all kinds of couples, including queer and nontraditional partnerships. Whether you're working through conflict, communication, or reconnection, I’ll hold space for both partners and guide you toward deeper understanding and healing.
